I am trying to update this blog as often as I can. I have been busy and cannot believe that the semester at Stark State is three quarters over.
Sita and I are involved in a new and exciting program. The one book one community program (OBOC) is all over the country where a community gets together and reads one book and then the schools and libraries and public places have programs on the book. This year the Alliance area is featuring Thunder Dog by Michael Hingson. This is the story of the incredible yellow lab that brought his blind partner and several other people to safety from the 78th floor after the World Trade Center was hit. It is an incredibele book. The speaker is coming to Alliance on March 21, 2013. On February 11th several of us with service dogs have been asked to speak at the Rodman Puiblic Library. I am sooo excited - Sita has opened up so many doors for me. I will keep all of you posted!
Here she is relaxing...
